Grandview Estate is currently under construction in the Western Metropolitan Region, 28 km to the west of Melbourne CBD in Truganina.
Grandview Estate is a master planned community within the Melton City Council Municipality for one of Australia’s largest developers. The estate will become home to over 1600 families and a number of public facilities including; a school, proposed community activity centre, sports reserve and conservation reserve.
The first two stages of the development consisting of 184 lots along with the road widening along Greigs Road to allow for turning lanes into the new estate. This contract included bulk earthworks, asphalt roadworks and storm water drainage in addition to all the new services required to service the new homes.
Grandview 4B has just recently been completed and passed council PC with the handover of 30 residential lots. Stage 9 has a new electrical Kiosk which will power the surrounding stages. Completed Sewer, Water, Drainage & External Drainage line (some of these pits required structural certificate)
Grandview Stage 8 recently completed Council PC with a handover of 57 lots. This one was a tricky job as the kiosk for this stage was actually located in the adjacent stage which is still under construction (Stage 9). In order to pass the Powercor inspection, finish surface levels had to be provided for the entire stretch of electrical work. This required us to accelerate works in stage 9 near this kiosk in order for it to meet the requirements of finished surface levels for the electrical pass.
This stage also had 600lm of concrete sleeper retaining walls and had a Melbourne Water drainage line that ran through the stage.
In June 2023, we achieved a major milestone by successfully completing Grandview 12, 13, and 3B, allowing settlements before the financial year for Stockland. This accomplishment reflects the extraordinary efforts put forth by our talented team.
🔧 Stage 14 is progressing exceptionally well, with watermain works currently underway. Our commitment to delivering top-notch work on time is evident in every aspect of this stage.
🌊 Moving on to Stage 15, we are making steady progress with sewer and drainage tasks. Our meticulous planning and attention to detail ensure a seamless execution.
🏞️ For Stage 3A, we’re happy to report that bulk earthworks are now complete, and we are swiftly moving forward with the sewer works. Our team’s efficiency has been outstanding!
🏗️ As for Stage 17, the bulk earthworks have been successfully completed, and we are gearing up to commence sewer works shortly. We’re right on track!
📅 Looking ahead, we’re excited to kickstart Stage 11 in just a couple of weeks. With the same enthusiasm and dedication, we’re ready to take on new challenges.
This build is currently underway. Through our dedication to the project and ability to work through any issues whether it be design or otherwise, Rokon has produced close working relationships with our clients, stakeholders and authorities thus we have recently been awarded the next two stages in the sub divisional works.
