Truganina Industrial Estate is a strategically located industrial development positioned just west of Melbourne’s CBD and major freight routes, offering direct access to the Princes/Westgate Freeway, Western Ring Road and Deer Park Bypass. Rokon delivered a comprehensive civil works package that included the construction of three large industrial pads, the full formation of Distribution Drive, multiple culvert crossings and a significant ANCOLD‑standard wetland system. The works involved extensive filling within the industrial pads and road reserve to establish future pavement layers, providing full through‑access to Distribution Drive and enabling servicing of multiple future industrial lots.

Delivery of the project required the concurrent construction of roadworks, wetlands and major drainage elements across Laverton Creek and the Dunes Drain waterway. Through strong stakeholder coordination, proactive risk management and adaptive construction methodologies, Rokon successfully completed the estate and associated wetland infrastructure while minimising disruptions to surrounding industrial operations. The result is a durable, well‑serviced industrial precinct underpinned by essential services including drainage, sewer, water, electrical and NBN infrastructure.
