Overview

Located in the heart of the western industrial precinct, Palmers Logistics Estate offers easy access to Melbourne’s major arterial connections, with immediate proximity to the Princes Freeway and Western Freeway. Situated on Palmers Road, between Leakes Road and Sayers Road, the site is only 22km from Melbourne’s CBD, 20km from the Port of Melbourne and 26km from Melbourne Airport. The estate can accommodate myriad business types and provide tailored solutions for leases up to 40,000 sqm.

Scope

This project is split into a number of separable portions. Western Drainage section requires construction of 1200mm drainage line adjacent to a recently constructed hardstand, Having to work along with the builder has restricted our work area, however works are progressing. Final piece of this drainage is to connect into the existing waterway. This will introduce other restrictions and hazards which we will need to address.

The remaining portion of the works is construction twin 1500mm drainage line between a recently constructed warehouse and hardstand. Again having a limited work zone has affected our work methodology, however working closely with the builders and client we have managed to construct this drain with minimal delays.

Outcome

Client has tenants already booked to move into the warehouses. Works need to be completed by start of July 2024 to allow this to occur.
